Northern Territory News quoted Jones as saying the cruise ship disturbed the party, causing the crocodile to pull its prey into the water."We tried to get closer but the crocodile resisted, swam with its prey and returned to the shore after we left , " Jones said. "We saw some big crocodiles on the trip, but this one is outstanding . "

"In the end it answers the long-standing question of elementary school children around the world: crocodiles and sharks, which one will win? The answer is crocodile, as happened." he said.

Saltwater crocodile is the largest of all crocodiles, with more powerful jaws than any animal. They can be more than 6m long and live for more than 100 years.
