Daniel Martin and his son saw the big crocodile slowly crawling across the highway while driving in South Carolina, USA, on a camping trip last weekend, the Charlotte Observer on June 14 reported. They were forced to stop and wait for the crocodile to reach the other side.
"Well, that's a big crocodile. There's fish or something in the middle of the road. He's crawling over to eat , " Martin said.
The distance and the sky made Martin unable to see clearly what was in the middle of the road. However, the crocodile slowly crawled on the highway, grabbing the corpse and pulling to the roadside lawn to enjoy.
Crocodile is easy to meet in May and June in the southeastern United States. This is their breeding season so crocodiles are very actively looking for partners.
