Cruise ships nearly hit the lava 'bomb' from the volcano
The ship carrying a group of amateur volcanic explorers was nearly hit by the giant lava bombs from the volcano Krakatoa.
Volcano Krakatoa erupted violently.
Geoff Mackley, from New Zealand, bravely recorded the moment the ship carried him and others into the erupting mountain.
Mackley is a freelance and famous photographer who likes to chase storms or plunge into the mouths of volcanoes around the world. However, the challenge on October 16 seems much more frightening.
Krakatoa volcano sprayed lava several hundred meters high. No one in Mr. Mackley's group was injured.
