According to ancient rumors, ghost dogs often roam the dark streets and pass by. With a shaggy black coat of flaming eyes, this legendary dog was accused of appearing in Blythburgh, about 11 km from the town of Leiston on August 4, 1577. At that time, the phantom dog broke the door to storm the place where the church concentrated many villagers hiding in it. It killed a man and a boy, the next and two followers at St Mary's Church in Bungay town, Suffolk county.

Experts are now collecting samples to determine the age of this strange creature. Mr. Brendon Wilkins, Project Director, explored that this skeleton must have been a dog living around 1577 because it was buried with the same ceramic pieces.
