This hormone, called "Adiponectin", has a higher average rate in people who live over 100 years of age.

These long-lived people have less symptoms of high blood pressure and other neurological diseases, their inxulin levels and obesity hormones are also lower than normal.

Adiponectin also plays an important role in neurology, especially in controlling the amount of glucose and sugar.

People with low Adiponectin rates are at increased risk of obesity, diabetes and easy to build plaque on blood vessel walls.
