Dilapidated scenes in southern Japan after the earthquake of 6.4 Richter scale

Occurring at 21h26 on April 14 (local time) in Kumamoto Prefecture, in the center of Kyushu Island, in southwestern Japan, the earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale caused great losses in both human and local residents.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, this is considered a powerful earthquake in Japan seismic intensity scale including 7 levels measured in the center of Kumamoto Prefecture .

" After the earthquake, at least 9 people were killed, more than 400 people were taken to the hospital. About 44,000 people were evacuated. Many houses were heavily destroyed ," Reuters reported.
