Earthquake shakes the Pacific Ocean
A strong earthquake shook the Pacific waters but did not cause casualties and tsunami warnings.

AFP reports that the earthquake struck off the sea of Okhotsk, Russia's east coast.
According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at 2:59 GMT, 158km from the Russian Poronaysk, with the epicenter at a depth of 625km. The agency released data on earthquake intensity of 7.7 on the Richter scale, while Russian officials said seismic intensity was 6.3 on the Richter scale.
"No casualties or damage happened," the official said.
The Japan Meteorological Agency also recorded slight vibrations at the northern island of Hokkaido and the northeastern part of Honshu Island. However, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not give any warning about tsunami.
