Research discovered, the reason many dinosaurs grow feathers is because they have to live and survive in harsh climatic climate.

To prove this hypothesis, scientists have developed a method to simulate the temperature of dinosaurs living.

Through the examination of oxygen isotope content in rainwater, scientists found that the temperature of the dinosaurs living in the same period corresponds to the temperature of North China in that period.

At that time, the creatures had to undergo harsh winter. Animals such as turtles, lizards choose to hibernate. Meanwhile, mammals, birds and dinosaurs can only rely on wings and feathers to survive. This explains why the dinosaurs in the area grow feathers.
