The moon is revolving around the Earth for more than 4 billion years, but the Earth's faithful companion has long been no longer alone, and will continue for more than a century.
A new object, exactly the 2014 OL339 asteroid , has just been discovered revolving around the Earth like a second moon.
The newly discovered 'Moon' , with a width of 150m, takes about 1 year to complete the orbit around the sun (364.92 days) and is keeping a close distance from Earth to be considered a satellite nature.
According to New Scientist, 2014 OL339 has moved near our planet for about 775 years, and will continue to be closer for another 165 years.
2014 OL339 was discovered thanks to the work of astronomer Farid Char of Chile's Antofagasta University.
