Discover the second giant crater in Siberia
It seems that a giant crater discovered deep in Siberia is not the only strange phenomenon formed here.

Local residents continued to discover a second crater, a little smaller but identical to the first.

Local official Mikhail Lapsui told Interfax-Ural news agency that some reindeer shepherds in the Yamal region (Yamal meaning the end of the world in local dialects) found the second crater located far from the village Antipayuta about 80km.
"You can see the snow in the pit," said Lapsui. There are currently no photos of the second pit published outside.
Scientists have visited the first crater and, although no scientific explanation has been given, they claim "nothing mysterious" about this crater. " This is only a natural phenomenon, involving changes in temperature and pressure in the Earth's heart " - researcher Andrey Plekhanov told the Siberian Times last week.
The area is characterized by a lot of natural gas and the current hypothesis is an air bag, combined with water, salt and rising temperatures that create a big explosion, forming a crater.
Scientists came to survey the giant crater
The group of scientists who came to the first pit survey may test the second crater to gather more information. However, the government has not yet announced any such survey plans.
