This treasure is dated to 2,350 years old, they are made of quite pure silver and highly skilled. According to experts, each of these 5 penny denominations, if sold in the market, will be £ 400. However, Paul Croituru is worried that he will not be able to own the treasure if it follows local laws.

The coins were cast in real silver but with the authorities at the time considered them fake money. A total of 309 intact coins and 40 fragments, are thought to be produced 400 years after the official coin appeared. According to scientists, this is probably the oldest counterfeit money in the world.

As a rule, the father and son can own a tenth of the total value, ie only about 12,000 pounds, the rest belongs to the government.

Even so, Paul Croituru said that the money is still more than his income to work hard.

Expected broken coins are restored and taken to Suceava Historical Museum for display.
