The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Antiquities said that Egyptian archaeologists found a large tomb in the ancient graveyard at Saqqara.
This mausoleum has a large room with many branches radiating into the alcoves. In it, a niche contains many remains, pottery and leads to another room with a 7m deep well.
'This is the largest tomb in Saqqara. The finding confirms that the Saqqara region still contains many unknown secrets , "said Zahi Hawass.
At the northern point of the tomb, archaeologists also found another cavity filled with falcon mummies - a symbol of the god of the Horus sky and many pottery intact.
