Mr. Tran Quang Chuc, director of Cuc Phuong National Park for Scientific Research, said that the above-mentioned orchid species live on the litter layer in the humid forest, with its stem and roots hidden under the ground, when they flower show on the ground.

At that time, the stalks rise 10-20cm above the ground, are milky white, and yellow flowers, have an oval shape, rounded at the top, the middle is red. This orchid blooms at the beginning of the rainy season, around April 3-4 every year.

In addition, the survey also discovered dozens of rare orchid species in the Vietnam Red Book such as: Bach manh ( Biermania sigaldii Seidenf ), Hoang Thao ( Dendrobium nobile Lindl), and Tam Dao royal palace ( Dendrobium daoensis Gapnep ), royal red spot, VN spread, comedy, comedy; message, hien forget . The research team proposed Cuc Phuong National Park to have a plan to preserve the genetic resources of these natural forest orchids.
