Discovering a few new species may be a cure for cancer
According to a reporter in Australia, several species of crabs, oysters, corals containing substances that can be used as cancer drugs have been discovered in the Kimberley area of Western Australia.
Experts and seagulls (porous sea creatures).
Divers have discovered these new species during the implementation of the marine survey project expected to last until 2015, led by the Western Australian Museum.
Project expert Clay Bryce said they conducted four surveys in Kimberley and discovered many new species.
Experts cannot name these species and only number them. Bryce believes many new species will be discovered and characterized by Australia - an ideal place for biologists to study.
According to Mr. Bryce, experts need at least 12 months to classify the 'spoils' obtained.
