Discovery ship connects to the ISS for the last time

Space shuttle Discovery successfully connected with the international space station on its last voyage before becoming a part of history.

During this mission, Discovery ship connected to the station within a week, providing necessities for travelers and a machine support for the space station.

It is expected that the flight will be carried out at the end of 2010. However, due to the cracking of fuel tank, Discovery vessel was delayed to February.

The crew on Discovery ship consists of 12 people, with US, Russian and Italian nationalities.

Discovery has a total of 39 flights in 26 years, with a record milestone of 143 million miles. The other two programs, Atlantis and Endeavor, will also end later this year.
