A "giant" python was discovered in an ecological area in South Africa.

Pythons hunter Nick Evans and his best friend Nick Saunders (a reptile rescuer) were called to the ecological area on the afternoon of December 16 after residents discovered a large python on the balcony of a house.

When Evans and Saunders arrived, the python disappeared. Couple looking around the house together. Finally, they found the python hiding in a small tunnel at the foot of the stairs.

The two men decided to dig the earth to approach the python. This process is not easy, even hidden full of surprises.

"As soon as we arrived, we searched and discovered under the 6-7m long staircase of the porch with a small tunnel. Through the gap, we could see the trace of a large python that was there. We decided. digging down to catch the python but unfortunately, the next part is a ledge and Saunders and I are forced to dig in the other direction.

Finally, we dug a hole big enough to crawl inside and watch. As I crawled inside and watched, my leg suddenly felt sharp. There seems to be something embedded in it. I looked down and saw a lot of bees.

Evans crawled inside the dug hole to observe and was stung by a bee.

I scrambled out of the hole quickly, while Saunders also ran to avoid the bees. I also ran but within a few seconds I was surrounded by bees biting all over my head, eyes, ears, neck, arms and legs. I ran 300 meters away from the hive, but I still got chased , " Evans shared on the Facebook page of the KwaZulu-Natal Reptile and Amphibian Conservation Society.

Finally, Evans had to ask the help of the beekeeper Johan Bodenstein. The hive is located near Evans and Saunders digging holes to catch pythons and while the two men work, they accidentally enter their "forbidden zone" without knowing it.

After the bees were settled, Evans and Saunders continued to hunt for the great python. Instead of going home, Johan beekeepers decided to stay behind to support the torch as well as dig the earth.

"At that time, it was getting dark and we wanted to catch the new home python. However, it was not as easy as we thought. The python was quite" stubborn ".

We feel a little relieved to know that there is no egg next to the python because it will seem impossible to bring the python that is keeping the eggs safely out. They were very fierce back then.

We put it to one end and poked the cane with the hope that the snake would crawl toward a cave a few meters away. After much effort, the python finally crawled to the cave. He stuck out his big head and saw me. Immediately, it turned back inside.

After many attempts, we also forced the python into a corner. I can catch it now but not. A python's bite cannot kill me because it is not poisonous but the sharp teeth and the force of the bite can seriously injure my hand.

No other way, I tried to pull its head towards me with a clip but it didn't work. At that moment, the python suddenly rushed towards me. I tried grabbing it and pulling it out. If it misses, it will hit my face. Saunders and Johan helped me to pull the python out, " Evans said.

Thus, after 6 hours of struggling since the discovery, 3 new men subdued the "giant" python longer than 4m, weighs 33 kg and moved it to a safe place.
