Earth has been attacked by mysterious cosmic radiation beams
Recent research by Nagoya University of Japan shows that in the 8th century, the Earth was attacked by mysterious cosmic radiation beams.
Radiation in the universe
Analysis based on two long-lived plants discovered radioactive compounds from the above cosmic radiation.
Nagoya University scientists have found that the level of carbon-14 in two radioisotopes of 774 and 775 is 1.2% higher than the current level.
Perhaps the above findings have not attracted much attention, but scientists are focusing their attention on the origin of carbon-14. One of the sources of cosmic radiation is the Sun, which usually takes place in the so-called Schwabe cycle .
However, the scientific team said that the two radioactive isotopes 774-775 could not be created by the Schwabe cycle at the time and it could be larger than any light from the Sun.
Now the team is planning to use modern technology devices to trace the true origin of carbon-14 in two radioisotopes. They also plan to turn back the pages to see if anything unusual happened more than 1,400 years ago.
