The upper half of the statue has a height of 1.3m and a width of 0.95m. Observing the statue shows King Amenhotep III sitting on the throne with Amun - the god of Egyptian mythology. Archaeologists said to continue excavation to find the rest of the statue. They predicted the entire height of this statue to be about 3m.
King Amenhotep III ruled Egypt around 1390-1352 BC, the ninth king of the 18th dynasty of ancient Egypt during the New Kingdom, a golden age in Egyptian history.
