Large lotus varieties that bloom hundreds to thousands of petals of a lotus player in Quang Nam are attracting the attention of lotus lovers.

The owner of this unique lotus variety is Mr. Dang Hiep Hoang, currently working at Vinh Dien Ward People's Committee (Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province).

In April 2017, a friend bought him to help Hoang look like a special lotus from abroad. This lotus variety grows up with high stalks, leaves larger than regular lotus. In particular, large flower buds, for many wings, cotton to 800 -1,000 petals.

Outside the flowers are large petals, the smaller the petals and the thicker the flower, the flowers are very colorful. After 3 seasons, the number of flowers blooms more and more. Flowers bloom for 3 weeks, as big as an adult's hand.

Mr. Hoang said this type is quite easy to grow and live well. Due to its large size, this lotus variety requires many nutrients to grow. However, lotus seedlings should be propagated slowly.

Although he has been growing for 2 years, Hoang has so far received 8 lotus pots."Many people see and ask to buy seeds, but the quantity is limited, so I only sell very little. This variety can sell millions per root but not enough supply , " Hoang said.
