Enochian: The mysterious language of angels

Enochian is a mysterious language that two 16th-century theologians John Dee and Edward Kelley recorded in their own journals and believe that in this language humans can communicate with angels.

In 1581, the theologians John Dee and Edward Kelley claimed to have received contact information from angels, who provided them with the foundation of a language to communicate with the other side. This "angelic language" contains alphabets, grammar and syntax, written in magazines. The new language is called "Enochian" and comes from John Dee's assertion that the Bible Enoch is the last person to know the language.

Dr. John Dee (1527-1609), is a mystic, mathematician, astronomer and astrologer living in Mort Lake, west London for most of his life. He studied at the University of St. John, Cambridge, is a scientific advisor and a regular speaker with Queen Elizabeth I.

In the beginning of his life, Dee was less interested in the supernatural. Later, he became disillusioned with science and began experimenting with magic and the occult. Dee seeks to discover lost spiritual knowledge and restore them through ancient books.

From 1581 to 1585, Dee began to perform a long series of magic events. In 1581, at the age of 54, he wrote in personal magazines that God sent angels to communicate directly with humanity. By 1582, he collaborated with the mysterious researcher and prophet Edward Kelley to contact these angels. Hundreds of conversations were recorded through the angelic language called Enochian.

There are two different versions of the Enochian Alphabet. The first version was found in Manuscript Dee, the first five mysterious books, and the second version, and is often more accepted than Liber Loagaeth's, after Kelley's original drawing. Some magicians have claimed it to be the oldest language in the world, preceded by all other human languages.

In some circles, it is considered one of the strongest magic strains and a method of contact with intelligence from other dimensions. The detractors pointed out that Enochian's syntax has a strong resemblance to the natural English language, the languages of Dee and Kelley.

To date, modern theologians still have difficulty re-structuring the Enochian system, although the process has been done by studying the original manuscripts found in Sir Hans Sloane's collection.
