Face the giant fish mouth

With a 9-meter wide mouth, the rough whale is about to swallow the woman diving nearby to have a good meal.

Luckily for the female diver Sam Bester, the giant staggering animal approaching her is just a harmless fish and their favorite is small fish. This 35-year-old woman swims parallel to the giant fish without knowing she was so close to her mouth until she looked back at the photo.

" It's amazing to see the picture and see how small I am next to him. Maybe I have slipped into his mouth ," Sam added. She has a long history of swimming with a whale for 12 years and collecting data on the breeding and habitat for this fish. The photo above was taken at a depth of 9 meters near Durban, South Africa.

Rough whales are the largest aquatic species on earth. They can be up to 12 meters long, weigh 15 tons and live for 70 years.
