Fake crocodiles to study

According to the Daily Mail magazine, American zoologist Brady Barr has worn crocodiles to conduct research in the cave of this dangerous animal. Because of the crocodile imitation, Barr joins a crocodile in the cave and looks closely at the animal, even putting data recording devices into their tails.

To find out about the Nil crocodile, Barr went to Tanzania, where the crocodile lives. The average size of the Nil crocodile is 4m, the largest can be up to 6m long. In the dry season, many Nil crocodiles are laid in flocks in mud caves along the river bank.

To be able to observe these dangerous animals, Barr made a special camouflage cover with a length of 4 meters, the size of a real crocodile. Crocodile head is made of fiberglass material. Body with aluminum frame covered with a steel sheet. On the corrugated sheet is covered with a big cloth to decompose the hippopotamus so that the crocodile cannot recognize the smell of humans.

Brady Barr, 44, of Texas, is considered the only scientist to have studied all 23 crocodile species.
