Unbelievable confrontation between crocodile, hippopotamus and antelope

After being trapped on a small island, an antelope decided to jump into the water to swim to the shore, facing fierce crocodiles and mysterious hippos.

If you're stuck on the island with stalking underwater, will you sit still or jump into the water to try to swim to the shore?

An impala has fallen into this situation and its decision leads to an incredible battle.

The antelope was found stuck on the small island in the middle of the lake in South Africa last Wednesday.

In the video filmed by James Hendry, a 3.6m Nile crocodile can be seen stalking an underwater antelope.

And when the crocodile crawled ashore, it seemed like it was about to attack, the antelope acted boldly. He jumped into the water and swam to the shore.

The crocodile immediately chased with amazing speed. But at that moment, a hippopotamus suddenly came out of nowhere, apparently wanting to expel the crocodile from the territory, according to National Geographic.

The confrontation of the three animals took place in the water, causing the lake to bubble constantly.

Finally, the crocodile caught the antelope and another hippopotamus appeared.

Crocodile and antelope suddenly disappeared from the water while two hippos swam away.

In the video, it is possible to see a bubble of water - something that shows that crocodiles are underneath biting antelopes.

"This is clearly a sad confrontation for antelopes," said James Hendry, a Wildearth safariLIVE host.

"Not many of us support crocodiles but I think they have to eat too."

It is unclear why the antelope is stuck on this island from the beginning. Hendry said it might have been chased out by stray dogs.
