Midnight defection of crocodiles about to be meated in China

The crocodile was locked in a Zhejiang restaurant, China recently defected during the night, causing local people to be very worried.

According to Shanghaiist, the police of Jinhua City in Zhejiang, China, received a call from a restaurant last week, saying there is a crocodile all around.

The alligator is about 1 meter long and weighs more than 13kg. It is not clear how it defected. But the video recorded by the security camera shows the animal appearing on a street outside the restaurant early in the morning.

The crocodile escaped from the restaurant at midnight.

Local police said the restaurant owner bought crocodiles legally. Every crocodile that the restaurant bought is wrapped tightly around the mouth.

It is unclear where the crocodile escaped but luckily for the local people, it was tightly wrapped around the mouth so it could not threaten anyone.

Some sources said the crocodile was caught again the next day. But the information posted on the Shanghaiist newspaper on August 28 confirmed that the police still have not found the crocodile.

The crocodile may have snuggled into the small forest nearby. The species of crocodile is capable of hiding and hunting so it is not easy to detect.

Crocodile is considered a delicacy in China. According to traditional Chinese medicine, nutritious crocodile meat can cure respiratory diseases like asthma.
