Born in the poor countryside of Binh Thuan, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai , in Xuan An ward, Phan Thiet city, has not yet completed grade 5 but is passionate about invention. In rural areas, there is often a day of unexpected power outages, fatigue of working adults, hot children do not study. He came up with the idea of ​​attaching a motor to a pedestal, using the rear wheel force of a motorbike when it exploded to generate electricity . This transmitter runs about half a liter of gasoline every hour, can be used to light up a dozen light bulbs, 2 fans at the same time.

From the generator, he later designed and added parts to turn it into a "4 in 1" machine including: power generation, pesticide spraying, water pumping, fire fighting in alleys. As for the fire function, he said the machine could only save places that started to burn, deep in a small lane where fire trucks could not enter.

"Motorbikes are my own, I want to make a certain machine, I can do it myself. Whenever I need to use it, I will attach the other machines without using them and take them out within 1 minute. Free holidays take your wife and children to play normally, " he analyzed funny.

In addition to the "4 in 1" machine, he also created a stray plucking machine that was granted a patent for a useful solution in 2011 by the National Office of Intellectual Property. Before creating a complete and operating plucking machine normally, he must study, fail 13 times to succeed.

Seeing the harvest peanut on the hot dry sandy land of Binh Thuan farmers is too hard, especially plucking the peanuts out of the tree takes a lot of effort. He immediately improved the threshing machine into a plucking machine, but the productivity was not high, peanuts were cracked, there were many left over, productivity was lost. He continued to tinkle to produce the perfect machine.

The complete machine has a sieve barrel moving under the platter, with a trough of peanuts. On a platter with a twist, the tree is quickly rolled in the plucking chamber so that the tuber does not crack. The leaves and stalks after being removed are transferred onto a separate conveyor belt to the outside. The machine has a capacity of more than 400 kg per hour, freeing up labor for many workers, so it is very much ordered by farmers around the region.

He said, there are those machines that were born from the times when he " played wild " and built it.
