Fish robots rescue ocean fish
These robotic fish look like children's toys. However, scientists expect them to save thousands of fish.
Dr. Maurizio Porfiri at New York University is developing a fish that can swim like real fish and they will play the role of ' leader ' so that the real fish swim along with them.
The task of robots is to detect contaminated seas or potentially dangerous places such as underground turbines. Fish robots will move to safe place, followed by the real fish, thus saving the fish.
According to the Daily Mail , the robots are at the initial stage of research, meaning that they must swim like real fish. The next step is to find out where the danger is. The complete part of the research process is that the robot must emit signals that put pressure on the real fish to swim along it.
