FootLogger - shoe soles

Body-worn braces can help employers know the amount of work they do each day, but engineers at 3L Labs, the US company, say their FootLogger products do. better than that

Inside each FootLogger footbed contains a 3-axis accelerometer and eight pressure sensors, but it's quite compact. They are capable of recording up to 50,000 steps in built-in flash memory and 24 hours continuous operation after each charge. Therefore, FootLogger is a high-tech footprint meter that helps users record data such as distance traveled and calories burned.

To use it, put two pads in your sneakers and start practicing. At the end of the day, just put the shoes on the attached device called the ShoeStation so that it recognizes FootLogger. Data from shoe soles automatically transfers to ShoeStation via Bluetooth.

Next, ShoeStation continues to transmit the data back to the servers at 3L Labs for analysis by experts. Final results are sent back to their apprentice or trainer via a text message or smartphone application. FootLogger FootLogger will be available in the second half of this year with a suggested price of $ 100.
