Found monkey thought extinct
Bouvier colobus red monkey has not been seen for more than 50 years, so it is thought that they are extinct.
Scientists have found the rare Bouvier colobus red monkey
Bouvier colobus was once considered a subspecies of Piliocolobus pennantii monkeys , but recently with collector's specimens, scientists were a separate species living only in forests in the Republic of Congo.

On April 17, 2015, two independent researchers Lieven Devreese and Gael Elie explored Ntokou-Pikounda National Park and recorded rare images of this monkey.
The UPI news agency quoted Devreese Devreese as saying to the Wildlife Conservation Association that images of them showing the Bouvier red monkey still exist.
UPI gives the help of local people with deep knowledge of wildlife plus the sounds of Bouvier colobus monkeys , Devreese and Gnondo find a group of monkeys living in the area's forests. swamp bordering Bokiba river of Ntokou-Pikounda national park.
It was first recorded and recorded some details about this red monkey in 1887 and then stored in the museum, so far through visual evidence of their existence, scientists have planned to study more deeply and how to preserve their habitats.
