Found strange structures longer than Egyptian pyramids

British archaeologists have just unearthed the remains of a mysterious prehistoric construction structure that is likely to be older than the ancient Egyptian pyramid system.

The strange structure that had never appeared before in Britain in particular and in Europe in general, was originally determined to be the foundation of the road or bridge leading to an artificial island located in southeast Wales on now on.

Discovered at Monmouth, it includes a lot of big trenches that could be a place to place wood beams - the foundation of a massive building. This hypothesis is further asserted when Steve Clarke, chairman of the Monmout Archaeological Society and his colleagues found the remains of three giant tree trunks that reached more than 15 meters long, nearly 1 meter wide, together with a muddy reservoir. .

At first, the team thought that the structure was the foundation of a house. However, the wooden grooves are too big for that purpose (a normal house only needs to use wooden beams 0.3m wide and 1m long).

'In particular, wood was lined up by the masons in the middle of the lake - proof that this was entirely possible as part of a causeway or bridge leading to the ancient Egyptian house. (People often build houses on lakes and marshes) or an artificial island , "said Steve Clarke.

The expert group believed that the structure appeared at least in the Bronze Age, possibly at the beginning of the Neolithic period, dating to about 6,500 years. Thus, its age is more than Egyptian pyramid for about 2,000 years.

Archaeologists have sent a number of samples to be analyzed and hope the results expected later this month will help them clarify its purpose of construction.
