FPT satellite into space

This morning the rocket has put Japanese spacecraft on earth orbit, bringing FPT's satellite, marking the first time a Vietnamese-made satellite into the universe.

The launch of the HTV-3 spacecraft took place at 9:06 am in Japan when clouds appeared a lot in the sky. The rocket, which has a volume of 560 tons, flies in the southeast direction, which means it faces the sea side of Japan. The entire launch process takes about 15 minutes. After that time, the rocket's solid material tank split off and the rocket reached 3,615 km / sec.

At 9:13, the rocket reached a height of 200km. At 9:21, the HTV-3 successfully separated from the missile and flew on its own, meaning that the F-1 satellite flight took place smoothly.

The spacecraft carries 5 tons of cargo, including F-1 satellites, which will access the International Space Station (ISS). From here, astronauts will control the F-1 drop arm and other small satellites into the air.

FPT's satellite has the shape of a cube 10cm and weighs 1kg, because FSpace team started to research and manufacture since the end of 2008, with the goal of "living" in space and signaling Earth control station, capturing low-resolution (640x480) images of the earth and satellite data transfer speeds of 1,200 bits per second.
