France: Two more suspected cases of SARS virus infection

French authorities said on May 9 that two more patients in the country suspected that the coronary (CoV) virus was similar to the virus that caused acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Meanwhile, the health situation of the first patient in France identified as CoV infection is still very severe and is being isolated.

Nord / Pas-de-Calais authorities announced that two more patients were sent for testing after the symptoms of CoV virus. One of them used to be in the hospital room with the 65-year-old male patient, while the second was his doctor.

Currently, French medical officials have not announced the name of the first patient, but said he was transferred to the hospital on May 9 to Lille, and was immediately taken to a special isolation room with a team of doctors. From September 2012 to the present, the World Health Organization (WHO) has recorded 30 cases of being infected with a new type of corona virus globally, of which 18 people have died. There are 22 cases in Saudi Arabia (including 13 deaths), Jordan 2 cases (all deaths), 4 cases (2 deaths) and Germany has 2 cases (1 death).

CoV can cause many different diseases for humans, from common cold symptoms to SARS syndrome. The virus was first detected in mid-2012 and has not been identified in humans or animals so far. Patients with severe acute respiratory infections such as fever, cough, shortness of breath and exhaustion.
