Liquid Image today unveiled its latest integrated swimming goggles, the Wide Angle Scuba Series HD, and a slim version of the Explorer Series 8.0MP. In addition to a regular swimming goggle, both products come with a built-in camera that can record video and stills without the need for two hands like regular water-resistant cameras.
Wide Angle Scuba Series HD can record Full HD video at 30 frames per second, HD video at 60 frames per second as well as 12 megapixel stills. It has a wide viewing angle of up to 136 degrees. Users simply press the button next to start recording or video while still wearing gloves. Wide Angle Scuba Series HD can withstand a maximum depth of 40 meters.
Explorer Series 8 Megapixel.
The Explorer 8 MP model can capture 8 megapixel stills as well as VGA video at 30 frames per second. It uses two AAA batteries and can withstand a maximum depth of 4.6 meters.
The UK market for Wide Angle Scuba Series HD is 330 pounds ($ 514). The cheaper version costs £ 80 ($ 124.5).
