This is a new study of Dr. Tang Thi Chinh and the staff of the Department of Environmental Microbiology - Institute of Environmental Technology - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has successfully applied in Dong Mau plastic recycling village, commune. Yen Dong, Yen Lac district (Vinh Phuc).
Previously, the environment of Dong Mau plastic recycling village was seriously polluted due to domestic wastewater and hazardous waste water discharging directly into the surrounding environment, affecting people's health.
Through analysis and testing, the water sources in the lakes and ponds here are heavily polluted, the indicators such as BOD, COD, total nitrogen of total phosphorus and pathogenic microorganisms exceed the permitted limit according to QCVN 08: 2008 from several times to dozens of times.
Dr. Tang Thi Chinh said that after only three weeks of testing and combining the use of Biomix 2, Japanese duckweed with LTH100 preparations, the water source in Dong Mau village ponds and lakes has been cleaned and up to the standards for surface water of category B (according to QCVN 08: 2008 of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment).
The water no longer has the stench and clear green color, heavy metals are also treated, in addition to killing algae, killing pathogenic microorganisms, not affecting humans and plants and animals.
Environmental treatment applied this method, the technology process is not complicated, the cost for treatment is not high, about 8,000 VND / m3.
