Hanoi will receive thunderstorms continuously for the next 2 days

Due to the effects of high wind convergence, thunderstorms in Hanoi and surrounding areas are widespread. Forecast, thunderstorms will last from now until April 22.

Information from the Central Hydrometeorological Center said, currently, in the West and Northwest of Hanoi area there are thunderclouds growing and moving towards the center of the capital.

It is forecasted that in the coming hours, these thunderclouds will continue to grow and will cause thunderstorms for Hanoi and surrounding areas. During a thunderstorm there is the possibility of a blow, whirlwinds, hail, and strong winds.

Previously, due to the influence of the convergence of high winds, from early morning yesterday (April 19), thunderstorms in the North and Viet Bac have appeared on a large scale, some places with heavy rainfall such as Tam Road (Lai Chau) 35mm, Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai) 53mm.

Thunderstorms will last from now until April 22 throughout the North.
