He alerted the danger from the Russian ghost ship

British media simultaneously quoted experts as warning, a Russian ghost ship, filled with cannibal rats and pathogens, could be on the coast of the country.

Nearly a year ago, the Russian passenger ship Lyubov Orlova , weighing 4,250 tons, went missing during a storm at sea while being towed from Canada. Coast guards were appalled, the 40-year-old ship was washed away by strong winds across the North Atlantic Ocean and is now floating somewhere near the English coast.

Searchers believe that on the ghost ship there are likely to be hundreds or even thousands of mice with germs and no other food sources other than their own.

Based on the emergency signals believed to have been accidentally sent from the ship last March and an unconfirmed satellite image, it is believed that the Lyubov Orlova ghost ship could crash into the west coast of Ireland, Scotland or the southern tip of England.

A spokesman for the UK Maritime and Coast Guard revealed that the authorities have not received any reports of sightings since April last year. Even so, they are always ready to react promptly.

Lyubov Orlova, which was built to carry 110 passengers, was confiscated in Newfoundland, Canada in 2010, after being abandoned by the crew for a debt dispute. Two years later, the ship was towed to CH Dominica to smash it. However, when the ship became ruined, the Canadian government decided to pull it further offshore and leave it behind.

Still, adventurous people are constantly searching for it. This is because, the law says, anyone who spotted an abandoned ship and threw a rope on the ship will have ownership of it. Scraps from the ship are estimated to be worth nearly 1 million USD.

In addition to the risk of cannibal rats, experts believe that ghost ships can also pose a threat to European coasts and oil rigs.
