He: vaccinated against cervical cancer for girls from 12 years old
UK Ministry of Health has just decided to vaccinate millions of girls aged 12 and over in the country to prevent HPV (human papilloma virus) that causes cervical cancer.
Based on the results of the experiment, the vaccination could help prevent about three-quarters of cervical cancers, the British medical community enthusiastically supported this decision.
According to statistics in the UK, about 1,000 women die of cervical cancer each year. Since the HPV vaccine was licensed earlier this year, the United States and Singapore have offered mass vaccination to domestic girls.
