American scientists have invented a handheld device, allowing couples to check sperm quality at home.

Two American experts Greg Sommer and Ulrich Schaff were the team who invented the handset, called TrakFertility , with the assurance that users can know the results within minutes.

Experts are programming mobile applications, allowing gentlemen to use their cell phones to study the results after testing and to talk directly with the treating doctor if needed.

Scientists came up with the idea of ​​making a sperm test handheld while working at Sandia National Laboratory in California.

After registering a new technology patent, both partners set up a startup company Sandstone Diagnostics Inc. to build the TrakFertility suite, and are expected to introduce it to the market as soon as next year.
