Horror animal with deep body, mouse head

A strange animal with a caterpillar-like body and rat-like head has just been discovered in Ukraine, The Sun reported.

Animal video quickly attracted more than 317,000 views on YouTube.

Alexander Emelyanov, from the port city of Odessa in southwestern Ukraine, discovered strange animals and used cell phones to record videos.

Alexander wrote: "Its skin surface is very smooth but not complete. To be honest, its body is like a snake .".

But the head of the animal attracted the most attention.

Social network users nicknamed "Da" wrote: "Look, mice are changing genes . They become wild and hiss like snakes."

After the video was shared online, local newspapers contacted animal experts who confirmed it was an elephant Hark caterpillar , scientific name Deilephila elpenor .

This nocturnal animal is quite common in central Europe, with olive wings and pink when the butterfly wall matures.
