Horror invasions of insects

The invasion of insects, snakes, grasshoppers . caused a lot of trouble for people at that time.

Recently, the people of Madagascar's capital Antananarivo felt extremely frightened when they witnessed the "landing" of millions of grasshoppers. The "landing" has created a huge black cloud that many people associate with recalling some other insect invasions in history.

Review some of the creepy landings in history through the article below.

1. Insect and snake invasion

In 1902, Peleé mountain - a mountain located on the French island of Martinique and erupted, sprayed gas and ash throughout the island and caused huge tremors for the whole area.

It is worth mentioning that the tremors and ash caused by the mountain pushed thousands of poisonous insects and snakes into the neighboring villages. The insects and snakes killed 50 people and nearly 200 different animals.

The first is a wave of golden ants and a large, black centipede. They crawled down into a giant colony on the mountains of Mount Peleé, flooding the streets and began attacking nearby workers.

Then there are the deadly snakes that come out of the nest and threaten dozens of people and pets. So far, this is still considered one of the worst volcanic eruptions in history.

2. 'Floods' grasshoppers invade Kansas

After the civil war of 1861-1865, Kansas was considered to be a land of hope, a large number of people came here to build a new life.

Many fields grew up and waited until the harvest date but the landing of locusts in 1874 made them change their minds.

This 'flood' of grasshoppers began in late July when millions of locusts, locusts and rafts came from Dakotas.

These insects fly in flocks in huge numbers. They were so large that they covered the light from the sky and made a sound like a heavy rain.

All plants are eaten clean. The grasshopper herds even eat wool and tear many people's clothes.

The people here have taken many measures to destroy the number of grasshoppers and aphids. However, every effort became useless due to the huge number of insects.

Efforts to destroy insects have made people here exhausted in resources. With the help of many neighboring countries, Kanas finally defeated these terrifying insects and had food reserves for the following season.

3. Fish flies clog traffic in Minnesota

In 1957, the city of Hastings of Minnesota experienced a terrible invasion of fish flies (fish flies).

Millions of individuals fly so high that they create a giant 'cloud' in the sky. Police and firefighters have all been mobilized, but the efforts of local teenagers need to be taken to get rid of the insect storm.

4. Yellow bee hides a car

In 2006, insect experts realized that the golden bee had moved its nesting location to old warehouses, houses and basements across Southern Alabama, USA.

This is said to be the result of prolonged dry weather and may well be because queen bees forced worker bees to expand their nest area. As a result, golden beehives are found everywhere, in particular, a giant honeycomb is found to cover an entire car.

Giant beehives show up in many places. A beehive with a diameter of 1 - 1.5m was found exposed on the roadside near Pineapple, Alabama.

But it is nothing compared to the honeycomb that the entomologist Dr. Charley Ray of "Cooperative Extension System in Auburn of Alabama" found. This giant group covered a 1955 Chevy automobile.

Starting from the tire, slowly the bees quickly 'swallowed' the car and the monk spread to a nearby storage.

5. 5,000-year-old hornets and bees set up on the bed

Recently, experts from the Longwood Insect Control Agency have handled a 5,000-pound hornet nest on a vacant bed at an English woman's house.

The owner of the house said, the room for this bed has been vacated for quite some time and they forgot to close the window. Therefore, it is very likely that the wasps have broken into the house by the window path.

The hornets are covered in beds, pillows and bed sheets.

According to the calculations of the experts, the hornets have to take about 3 months to build and develop a nest about 1 meter in diameter.

Hornets are a fierce animal and like to attack people. Therefore, the experts were quite hard to remove the "fortress" of 5,000 individual wasps, including about 500 wasps and thousands of small larvae.
