Hypnosis ... sharks, why not?

With just a simple operation, marine biologist Leigh Cobb can hypnotize a huge tiger shark, making him obedient like a pet.

The 38-year-old has just wowed viewers by showing off a tonic immobility technique near the Tiger coast in Bahamas.

The moment when the 4.8m long tiger shark was hypnotized by marine biologist Leigh Cobb, it was put into a state of "paralysis of the muscle".(Photo: SPUTNIK).

Specifically, she touched the sensitive nerve endings on the nose of the tiger shark above, put the scary animal into a temporary paralysis before slowly turning it around to check the abdomen and giving it eats.

Smaller sharks swim around while Mrs. Leigh hypnotizes this 4.8-meter tiger shark."Muscle paralysis" is a hypnosis technique commonly used by researchers to easily access and minimize the risk of being attacked when interacting with sharks.

It is known that Ms. Leigh is the executive of Shark Diver Travel, an organization founded with the aim of changing misconceptions about sharks.

"If possible, I will dive with sharks every day. The bad voices they suffer are not true. I want to show the world that sharks can interact with people at different levels" - Ms. Leigh shared.

Photographer and diver Christian Torres, who recorded the moment when Mrs. Leigh "subdued " the tiger shark above, insisted that diving with this massive animal always brings new feelings. The 41-year-old photographer, from Ecuador, also shared that he liked taking photos of big animals like sharks, whales or dolphins.
