I know ... fishing
It is very rare for us to encounter deep sea finfish (Linophryne brevibarbata), but sometimes trawl fishing boats "grab" a few. Often people catch a couple of "spouses" once. There are many strange things in the world of this fish.
The finfish live in the environment without any day or night at all. All around them were just a pitch-black color.
Compared to her body, the female has a mouth that is so big that it can be swallowed up by swallowing a big fish that is about the size of itself. And so when you receive the "big" bait, the stomach will have to swell.
Because of the scarcity of the deep seabed, it is "rich" for a glowing organ to increase the chances of catching many bait. "Glowing fish" just waved "need that morning" right in front of its mouth to seduce innocent prey. When the time is "ripe" it just opens its mouth wide, swallowing all its prey.
Female mouth and teeth look very afraid: Sharp teeth, upper teeth protruding out even when mouth is shut. Sometimes the eyes are always staring forward. The female body is round and round, it looks weird. "Light fishing rod" only works in dark environments.
In the midst of the dark scene in the deep sea, the male (tiny, with a sensory organ on his head) swims to find the female. The mouth of the male fish does not have teeth but there are parts that stick out, used to . cling to the female. When exposed to the object, the male seeks to integrate the tissue with the female's blood vessels, living on the nutrients that the female body provides. And from then on, the male lives on the female until the day . "silver-headed teeth". What a kind of fidelity . parasitic!
Eggs are laid in the water, forming a thick mass like jelly and fertilized by "sticking" males. The whole body is floating on the surface of the sea, living like an adventure for some time before . farewell to the sun, back to the dark sea floor.
The length of the male can be about 2cm, the length of the female body is about 1 dm.
