In 2024 humankind will first set foot on Mars
SpaceX development company plans to bring people to Mars for the first time in 2024.
Flying Dragon 2 was designed to transport astronauts to the ISS station.
The owner of developer SpaceX, Elon Musk intends to launch the Flying Dragon 2 rocket on Mars by 2018 and will bring the first person to the planet by 2024.
CNBC quoted Elon Musk: "Flying Dragon 2 was designed to transport astronauts to the ISS station. But we intend to send a rocket to Mars in 2018" . The newsletter said the missiles will be sent to Mars every 26 months apart.
Also note that Flying Dragon 2 is capable of carrying 7 people and an average trip to Mars takes 18 months.
"I would not recommend going to Mars this way because of the long travel time. Besides, there is no possibility of returning to Earth , " Musk joked, "if you choose a place to die , Mars is a bad choice. "
