India implements its own positioning satellite system

On July 1, India brought up the first satellite orbit of the satellite navigation system similar to the global positioning system (GPS) of the United States.

According to AFP, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said the first of the seven satellites of the Indian Regional Satellite System (IRNSS) will be put into orbit from a location at Andhra Pradesh state.

Devi Prasad Karnik, ISRO director, said the satellite weighs 1,425kg.'The Indian system is produced domestically, serving the purpose of providing location and accurate information on locations across the country and in the area 1,500 kilometers from our border' - Mr. Karnik said know.

After 6 months ISRO brought up a satellite orbit and expected the IRNSS system to complete and operate completely in 2015. Not only providing commercial positioning services or supporting relief activities in Disaster, IRNSS will also help the Indian army to monitor the activities of the country's military aircraft and aircraft.

The Indian government said the total cost of the IRNSS system was around US $ 238.6 million. New Delhi started working on the IRNSS project just a few months after China deployed the North Satellite positioning system.

Beijing began developing the North Dau system in 2000 to avoid reliance on US GPS services. It is expected that this system will cover the global market by 2020. In June, Indian newspapers reported that Pakistan, its neighbor, had an unfriendly relationship with India, will also use the services of the North system. Fuck.
