Injury due to the phone
American researchers say the mobile phone will become a dangerous object if used incorrectly.
The number of injuries has skyrocketed for those who have just walked and used mobile phones. Statistics show that in the year of the United States, about 1,500 people had to go to the emergency department because they had just gone on the phone, which doubled compared to 2005.
Ohio State University researcher Jack Nasar said he was not surprised if the trend increased. Even by 2015 the number of injuries due to mobile phone use will continue to double if pedestrians lack awareness of this dangerous behavior. The study also found that the distraction of using mobile phones mostly belongs to young people aged 16-25.
Everyone knows there have been many pitiful accidents while driving and using mobile phones, this time the pedestrian session is also at high risk. The researchers used data stored by the US Department of Consumer Safety's Consumer Products Agency and reports on injuries from 100 hospitals nationwide to make the recommendation.
UPI news agency said that in order to reduce both behavior and phone use, adults and parents must first set an example for their children.
