The Kokoro Scanner, developed by a Tokyo-based toy company, was designed with a lie detector device. Once attached to the forehead, the device monitors the heartbeat of the user to establish baseline data. When answering a question, Kokoro Scanner will monitor the heart rate again to compare with the original information.

The flashing blue light shows the person wearing the device is telling the truth. The golden light corresponds to the ability to lie, and the red light accurately confirms the liar. Since the Kokoro Scanner is worn on the head, the respondent will not be able to see the color displayed.

The Kokoro Scanner design inspired by the Japanese police using a detector to detect sex crimes. However, the manufacturer said this product may only be relative.

The title has been changed.
