Israel SpaceIL's nonprofit organization, presided over the first conquest of the Moon in the country, announced backward launch.

In the October 10 announcement, SpaceIL said the plan should be made in December but will be delayed until early 2019 at the discretion of SpaceX Group - the Falcon 9 rocket carrier. The unmanned ship built by Israel into space.

However, SpaceIL did not specify the exact time to postpone the launch and landings on the Moon.

The plan is expected to be carried out in December but will be delayed until early 2019 at SpaceX Group's discretion.

Under the original plan, the ship will land on the Moon on 13 February 2019. Previously, spacecraft only took a few days to fly to the Moon. However, SpaceIL's cruise will take 2 months due to being launched into an elliptical orbit to save fuel compared to faster flights.

The mission also includes studying magnetic fields and plugging Israeli flags on the Moon. On the Moon, the ship will transmit data to the control center at the Israel Space Agency for two days before its system stops working.

In the form of a spider, the spacecraft weighs nearly 590kg, is approximately 2 meters in diameter and about 1.5 meters high. If successful, this will be the smallest spacecraft to land on the Moon.

The project was implemented in the framework of the 2010 Announced Awards. The competition is a $ 30 million prize to encourage gender and entrepreneurs to carry out missions to conquer the Moon at a relatively low cost.

Although the award ended last March without finding its owner, Israel is determined to push the ambitious project forward.
