India plans to launch 58 satellites and spacecraft
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) plans to launch 58 spacecraft and satellites in the next five years, including a launch on Mars orbit and a launch into the Moon.
New Delhi reporter quoted a statement about ISRO's 12-year 5-year plan announced on January 25 that the organization will deploy 33 satellite launches and 25 spacecraft launches from now until 2017. .
The budget for this plan is about 7.5 billion USD.
The statement said ISRO will launch a technical satellite into Mars orbit to study the planet's surface and atmosphere.
Two other launches have been planned, in which Chandrayaan 2 will conduct research on the surface of the Moon, while Aditya will study the Sun and the solar spectroscopy.
ISRO will also launch multiple satellites, in which GSAT 7 satellite is mentioned as an information satellite serving 'special users'.
