The Oceansat-2 satellite weighs 960kg, is equipped with 3 scientific research devices, including an ocean color tracking device to study the important role of the oceans in climate formation. Earth, interactions between oceans and atmosphere, while assessing the humidity in the atmosphere.
In addition, the satellite also helps locate fish stocks in the waters around India, forecasting the start of the rainy season and monitoring seawater pollution in the country's coastal regions.
The other two devices are used to measure temperature and detect radio waves in the Earth's atmosphere.
6 foreign nano satellites, including 4 Cubesat satellites (numbered from 1 to 4 - each satellite weighs 1 kg) and 2 Rubinsat satellites with numbers 9.1 and 9.2, with weight Eight kilograms per satellite, made by universities in Germany, Switzerland and Turkey, are put on Earth orbit to test different space technologies.
