Israel registered a patent to distribute scents with smartphones, which will be sold globally
A recently registered Israeli patent describes a technology that emits favorite scents with smartphones and will be sold in North America and the Far East.
Yoav Ben David - a former senior officer in the Israeli army, and Moshe Zach, an electronic engineer, have developed a method that allows an optional scent to be dispersed automatically when the user enters the house, car or his office.
The scent is made of a natural water-based liquid, so it does not cause allergies.
The user's smartphone will detect that they are entering and immediately activate the scent release mechanism. Similarly, it will stop this process when identifying users who are leaving the room or vehicle.
Currently, users can choose from many scents and flavors, including lemon, lavender, rose and Indian aromatic grass (patchouli). The scent is made of a natural water-based liquid, so it does not cause allergies or health-related problems.
This patent also allows the dispersion of scents in combination with air conditioning systems in banquet halls, theaters, hotels, hospitals, and on trains.
Reportedly, an American marketing company signed an agreement worth $ 2.5 million to distribute this product, first in Canada, the US and the Far East.
