Awarded the 2014 patent contest

On the evening of November 22, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Science and Technology held a ceremony to award the 2014 patent contest.

Special bed solution for necrosis prevention for immobile patients of inventor Nguyen Long Uy Bao won the first prize in the competition.

The second prize was awarded to green and green environmental joint stock company with the solution of waste treatment equipment.

The Center for Research and Development of Environmental Technology with the automatic waste sorting solution won the third prize of this year's patent contest.

In addition to the first prize worth 100 million dong, the second prize worth 50 million dong and the third prize worth 30 million dong also has 12 consolation prizes worth 10 million dong each.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung said this is the second year the Ministry of Science and Technology held the Patent Competition.

There have been 173 technical solutions of individuals and organizations from 40 localities participating in the competition, including many new solutions with high creativity and applicability, contributing practically to the solve difficulties in life, production - business of people and businesses, many solutions have been commercialized at home and abroad.

According to the representative of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) - Vietnamese researchers do not need to create a new invention that can use the world's inventive inventories, access databases, successors excess achievements to find useful solutions.

The competition aims to raise awareness of the value of patent information in finding solutions to solve everyday life problems.

Also at the ceremony, the Ministry of Science and Technology awarded the title of "Creative Enterprise" to 30 enterprises using an active and effective intellectual property system.
